A Different View of the WS-TX Feedback Workshop

The extensive comments Alastair Green wrote in response to my posting about the lack of feedback at the ws-tx workshop are worth reading. I am about to run out the door for a Boston meeting, so my reaction will have to wait. Alastair is certainly right in they had a long list of issues with the spec but were given limited speaking time, and I can understand if they feel that they were somewhat railroaded: 'why don't you send that in a comment to the mailing list' was the response of one of the editors. In that sense the workshops are a bit awkward, as they suggest hat you can actually influence the direction of the spec, but at the same time there is no guarantee that any suggestion will actually be honored by the authors.

Anyway, go read Alastair's comments for a different view of the workshop.
