Are they for real?

On a few occasions people have publicly asked whether Lieberman is 'for real'. We will soon find out. Today an order has gone out for their Hollywood laptop configured with a P4 3.2 GHz Extreme Edition. Delivery time 2-3 weeks.

I promise not to complain about the battery life...

This is the first in a long time that I am stepping away from buying IBM Thinkpad for laptops, but IBM does not seem to innovate their high-end systems anymore. Their goal appears to be to expand their middle-of-the-road systems, and none of them are actually as good as my current TP A31p. The latter has reached the end of its high-reliability life, and it is time for a replacement, but there is nothing in IBM's line-up to replace it with except for another one from the A-series. Lieberman is a bit of a risk, but if it works out it will be great.
