Touchdown in L.A.

I flew into San Diego and then drove through a very smoky and dusty I5 to L.A. in a bit under two hours. The stories of people losing their homes are horribly. The whole town is closed down, soot everywhere. I turned on the airco in the car and was instantly covered in grey dust.

On the way into the cabin filled with smoke, and it became strangely dark with an orange tint. Very weird.

I am staying at the Westin, I preferred the Standard, but as an MS guest you have no choice, and I am not really complaining. The valets didn't really want to touch the soot covered car...
