Travelin' Man

Today I am leaving on the first trip to a series of fall conferences and workshops. This trip is to the Rotor 2003 Conference in Redmond where I'll present some of the CLI benchmarking work. In October/November there will be trips to Asilomar (HPTS), Bolton Landing (SOSP), Los Angeles (PDC), Amsterdam (VU), Dresden (MSR-GAC) and Phoenix (SC2003). Later in December I will finish the traveling year in Tentro, Italy at the first Service Oriented Computing conference.

As usual I will give some summary of interesting sessions at the Rotor conference. The agenda is here, I am giving the last presentation before the wrap-up on Friday. I know the sessions will be taped, but I don't know whether they are streamed out publicly.

I'll need to work hard to get the cli-grande code out before the presentation, as I am somewhat handicapped by a laptop hard-disk crash on Sunday evening, loosing a weekend worth of work. Those were mainly detailed disassemblies of JITTed code for the presentation, so I can recreat them. But I did also lose some of the modified versions of the benchmark code.
