Road Trippin'

Today all of us who are in the 'scalability of networked systems' MURI program (see yesterday's posting) will go to a MURI workshop in Syracuse to present progress. This is quite a caravan: Geoff and Keith from UCSD, and Alan, Jai, Johannes, Ken, Robbert, and me.  It is only an hour from here, but we are not allowed to travel together out of the fear that one accident could wipe out a significant portion of the systems faculty.

Robbert and I will run some demos; Robbert of the dynamic query functionality in Astrolabe, and I will show a visualization/animation of the use of epidemic protocols for reliable state sharing in sensor networks.
